An independent entertainment company in Monett, Missouri. Founded in 2018 by Tony & Belinda Wormington.
Steelhorse doesn't just release music — it produces film. "500 Days of Silence" follows the story behind The Black Moods in the kind of detail most labels never let a camera near. It's proof the label's storytelling extends past the single, into a real body of work.

They didn't come up through the music industry. They came up through something rarer — a lifelong love of music, and the means to finally do something about it.
Tony wasn't supposed to be a music executive. He was employee #6 at Jack Henry & Associates — the Monett-based financial technology company he helped build from a handful of people into a Nasdaq-listed, S&P 400 institution with thousands of employees nationwide. He served as President for years, earning his way to the top of a billion-dollar company on straight talk, hard work, and genuine belief in the people around him.
But the boardroom was never the whole story. Music was always there, underneath everything. When the time came to do something about it, he didn't write a check to someone else's label — he built his own, the small-town Missouri way.
The heart of Steelhorse. Belinda co-founded the label with Tony and has been the creative and human center of everything they've built since. Her approach — warm, direct, fiercely loyal to the artists she believes in — is why the band describes Steelhorse not as a label deal, but as family.
Together, Tony and Belinda built something the music industry rarely produces: a label with real resources, zero ego, and an absolute refusal to let business get in the way of the music. Monett, Missouri doesn't appear on any map of the industry. Steelhorse is quietly changing that.
Tom Wolfe Memorial VFW Post 4207 sits a few miles from Steelhorse, out on West US Highway 60 in Monett. Tony and Belinda are down there regularly — working post events, sponsoring, backing whatever the post is raising for. And when The Black Moods come through town, they play it.
Post 4207 is an independent veterans organization. Anything given through the link above goes straight to the post.
Steelhorse HQ sits in Monett, Missouri. When The Black Moods are in town, the game room stops being a game room — amps come in, mics go up, and the house turns into whatever the song needs that week.
The Black Moods — Steelhorse's flagship signing — are mid-cycle on "Time Bomb," with "Red Lights" as the latest single. Real rooms, real crowds, real chart movement.
A power trio out of Tempe, Arizona — Josh Kennedy (vocals/guitar), Chico Diaz (drums), Brenden McBride (bass). Studio collaborators include Eddie Kramer and Robby Krieger; tour stages have included Gin Blossoms, Jane's Addiction, Shinedown, and ZZ Top.

Steelhorse is a small label in a small Missouri town that decided the music mattered more than the odds. Five Billboard singles, a #1 in Italy, and a feature film later, we still answer our own email.
